■ Completing Grade 6 in 2013
■ Minimum 70% for Mathematics and English
■ Clearly demonstrate financial need
■ South African citizen
■ Certified copies of ALL required documentation
■ Ambassador of the Foundation’s intended profile, namely demonstrating:
•• Courage: bravery, persistence, integrity and vitality
•• Leadership: citizenship, fairness and sense of justice
•• Vision: appreciation of excellence, gratitude, hope and humour
•• Indication of self knowledge
•• Track record of displaying and committing to excellence
•• Track record of displaying creativity and innovation

economic growth in South Africa.
Transnet's core divisions are: Transnet Freight
Rail, Transnet Engineering, Transnet Pipelines,
Transnet Port Terminals, Transnet National Ports

As part of our human capital development strategy,
we are offering bursaries to B.Eng or B.Sc.
Engineering students. This aligns to address
Transnet's skills needs in support of the Transnet
market demand strategy.
Grade 12 learners (SA citizens) with outstanding
achievements, minimum five symbol in Mathematics
and Physical Science are encouraged to apply for one
of our comprehensive bursaries in the following
disciplines:
Current students studying towards the above
qualifications with excellent academic records (only
SA citizens without any other bursary obligations) are
also invited to apply. Relevant reference code to be
indicated on the application form.
